BLS SKILLS TESTING

For healthcare providers seeking first-time training or renewal of their BLS card. ​

Part 1: Completed online through a key (code) purchased from the HMC Community Training Center. This course teaches:

• One- and two-rescuer CPR (adult, child, infant)
• AED use
• Bag-mask use
• Rescue breathing and choking (adult, child, infant)

Course can be completed in approximately 1.5 hours.

Part 2: After completion of the online portion, contact the UW Medicine Community Training Center at Harborview to schedule a skills practice/testing session. Participants must complete a skills practice/ testing session with an AHA BLS Instructor to earn their AHA BLS Provider card. Online certificate of completion must be emailed to hmcctc@uw.edu prior to scheduling a practice/testing session. Skills practice/testing session should be completed within 60 days after completion of Part I (online portion).
